Gary G. W. Chang (張文恭), Ph.D., P.E., IEEE Fellow

Brief Biography (簡歷)

張文恭教授於1982年自國立台北工專五年制電機科畢業,在1988與1994年分別於國立清華大學和美國德州大學奧斯汀分校取得碩士與博士學位。1994至1995年間,張教授任職於美國加州的Power Quality & Electrical Systems公司,負責執行PG&E的配電自動化及EPRI的電力品質改善研究計畫。1995至1998年間,張教授任職於美國Siemens輸配電部門,負責開發應用於各國電力公司EMS/SCADA系統的短期資源調度軟體。1998年8月起任教於國立中正大學電機系,於2005年成為正教授,並於2020年榮昇講座教授。
張教授已發表逾200篇期刊和國際會議論文,一冊IEEE PES出版的電力系統諧波短期課程教材,以及一本McGraw Hill 出版之電力系統Power System Analysis專書,自1998年以來,已執行超過120件國科會、政府機構及業界委託的研究計畫。張教授曾任IEEE PES台北分會(2011-2012)、IEEE PES 電力品質委員會、和IEEE PES 輸配電委員會召集人,他也擔任IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery期刊資深主編及IEEE Power Engineering Letters期刊之副編輯。自2010年起擔任科技部能源國家型計畫主軸計畫主持人,建立跨十二校之研究團隊,培育博士生逾10 名及碩士生逾 100 名。2019 年起擔任科技部綠能前瞻計畫主軸計畫共同主持人,且擔任「系統整合」項目主審兼召集人,負責規劃綠能與系統整合之前瞻研究議題與計畫管考。
張教授曾在2009及2019年榮獲國科會/科技部傑出研究獎,在2010年以「對電力系統諧波與間諧波的貢獻」榮升IEEE Fellow,並在2013及2019年分別獲得傑出中國電機工程學會電機工程教授獎及中國工程師學會傑出工程教授獎。張教授在學術界及工業界相當活躍,經常擔任國內外學術會議與研討會之主持人與講評人,以及擔任多項國家考試之召集人、典試、命題、與閱卷委員,他的研究興趣包含電力品質、電力系統分析與最佳化、微電網、再生能源和智慧電網。
